I assume that the 4x8 is a stack or 16" pieces, so a face cord? That seems high to me. I did a quick CL search and you can get Hickory for around $150 for a face cord around here, and most places include delivery.

A face cord is a 4' x 8' x 16" stack and a full cord is a, 4' x 8' x 4' stack, or three face cords.

That seems high to me , in Missouri I pay 75 to a 100 for a half cord but I haft to pu at that price
