So this afternoon I am going to smoke a chicken surrounded by about 8 bulbs of garlic. The garlic will be used to enhance other foods such as mashed potatoes. I wonder if any garlic flavour will transfer to the chicken.
Are you going to put them in a foil cup and drizzle with olive oil? I do this some times and it is awesome. Smells amazing as well. You could pour the excess oil onto the chicken for flavor.
