Default Free smoker tattoo!

I didn't realize until today I got a free tatt! Yipee lucky me..lol

Getting a little too fancy I lifted the lid with my left hand, flipped some food with the right and the kettle lid swung in and burnt me but nothing bad so i didn't think twice. Today i saw the tattoo on the back of my forearm.

Anyone else got any free smoker tattoos?

That is how my son learned the definition of hot. I was grilling in the backyard when he was just a little guy. He walked up to the grill and I told him it was hot, don't get too close. He walked up, touched it and started yelling "hot" between his screams. Mom blamed it on me....

It's the P and part of the R plus the A S T from my Masterbuilt Pro dome lid on my wood roti and grill. After i noticed the burn i had to figure out where it came from.

LOL, no need for that to lift off a kettle lid. It was just a freak accident, my grip on the lid just slipped a little and it swung in to my arm.

My distraction was either a IPA or a vodka drink...not sure The branding won't be permanent i'm sure, just one of those temporary tatts! lol

I say sack up, get that thing hot again and finish the job.
Just kidding but seriously, I did something similar with a dirt bike on my tricep area of my arm. It was 3rd degree though and I still have the scare. First two days the pipe fabricator plate could be read. After that it was too ugly to read. It did smell a little like bad bbq at first though.
