I did the seasoning last night, she ran perfectly, 245-260 for 4 hours. Thanks for the love. This was really fun build. If any one is interested, I have the CAD drawing to scale, to cut the template for the barrel.

I love it. Just built my first traditional UDS, but always wanted to build one this way (lack of welding skills makes this difficult). Good luck with it, I'll send you a PM for the CAD plans.

Made the charcoal basket out of expanded metal. Welded legs on it and made an ash catcher. Will post pics later today.
