I'm borrowing my buddies' maverick and running his and mine at the same time. Will they work that way or do they get "confused" with channels and such. I have four probes in my smoker and I swear they are reading different than they should. ie-it should be reading smoker temp and it's actually reading food temp.

You can use two at onec. Make sure to turn on the receiver on one and then turn on the transponder. Once connected, do the same for the other. If both receivers are on when you turn on the first transponder they will both pick up the same signal.

They are digital units. As with anything digital (not analog), there won't be signal confusion. Like sliding billy said, sync the units one at a time and you'll be golden.
