OKIE Joes & Columbia

Tiger Shrine Club results were posted in the MoFo Mania thread. Here's what I found on Oklahoma Joe's and the World Brisket Open:

World Brisket Champion - Buttrub.com
Chicken - Twin Oak Smokin' Crew
Ribs - Pig In, Pig Out
Pork - Smokers Wild
Brisket - Pellet Envy
RGC - Twin Oak Smokin' Crew GC - Smokers Wild

Chick'n Pig did pretty good this weekend. My son Samuel took Reserve Grand Champion in the kids Q. We ended up 16 overall. I liked the contest but missed all my brothers at the shriners. Way to go Spice and Kick.
We are cooking at the gab next weekend.

Wow, there's some great names on that list. I imagine all of them and of course more will hang around KC for next weekend's GAB.

Did you see in another thread that Chick'N'Pig was 16th? Pretty amazing I think!

I saw that... I'm hoping it was the smoker... how 'bout you? Skip practically has a professional kitchen out there and knows what he's doing! Nice guy! It was my first time to meet him. Unfortunately I got a phone call not long after Brother Wayne and I went over to say hello.

Way to go Rod. Need to see if I could get a sample of some of that award winning brisket next time I see you.:-D
