So I initially planned to play Call of Duty all day today since its my day off, but decided to treat my wife and myself to dinner. Was going to try out tonybels recipe for carne asada but since I just had some last week, decided to go with a slab of spare ribs. Going to try this sauce and beans with it. I think I'll enjoy the good weather and play outside

And on they go. Simply Marvelous spicy apple rub. Going to check on them every hour or so. Watching the uds chug away now

Yeppers the spicy apple rub is real tasty and those ribs are lookin real good

And here's the plated pic. Stubbs was good but those beans were pretty delicious. Mashed potatoes were just made with sautéed garlic, butter and sour cream.
