I'm looking to buy a DX2 and wonder if the 10cfm fan that comes standard is sufficient for a 22" WSM or if I should get the upgraded 25cfm fan?

I can run any of my smokers on the 10cfm fan: BWS Party, Large BGE, or 18.5" WSM... I can't imagine that you'd have a problem with the 22" WSM.

10cm fan is plenty powerful for a UDS, WSM, BGE etc. If you get into bigger stick burners then you might need to upgrade.

I have a CyberQ WiFi and the 10cfm fan is fine on my 22 1/2" WSM.

I have a XL-BGE and a 10cfm fan works great on it.

10 cfm fan is fine for my WSM, in fact, I just ordered another Guru DX2 with the very same fan.

10cfm is way plenty for a WSM. I run the same fan at 1/3 with my cyberq wifi on my kamado to avoid overshooting temps. You'll be good.

Though I do not have a DigiQ, I do have a Stoker, and I use the 10 cfm fan with my 22.5" WSM. It works great. No need for the for the larger fan.
