Default Saying hello from New Orleans.

My name is Mike, been lurking for a while and I have to say this is a great place. I used to bbq a lot (never real good at it) but due to work and college I hadn't run a pit in probably 4 or 5 years. Picked up a Weber 22.5" kettle, starting reading and my BBQ was coming out great and then I read how to make the kettle a smoker. Did a trimmed brisket and a few ribs on the kettle but it was a lot of work so I bought the WSM smoker, so far have done 6 chickens and 5 racks of ribs and just fired it up to do my first brisket on it today. Looking forward to learning some more tricks from all of you.

Welcome to the forum ! You need to scout out a Louisiana Acadian (aka coon ass) to teach you about their microwaves and cochon de lait.
