Default Ideas on how to earn a few extra bucks BBQing?

Hello everyone...I've been bbq'in for a few years. I'm somewhat new to smoking but nonetheless, people seem to like my bbq ribs. I am a novice, never cooked in competition or anything...just back yard bbq'in.

Anyway, my question is...I would like to try and earn a few bucks a month hopefully cooking bbq for others. My question is, how do I get started with this? I'm not talking about a commercial operation or anything...just something where I can cook ribs for some people once or twice a month and charge them a nominal fee. Any suggestions?

Don't mean to rain on your idea, but if money changes hands for food you are catering, vending, or something similar.
Carry's with it some legal requirements.
May I suggest you read some of the many threads here about catering and such until someone comes along with other ideas.

Good Luck.

Check with your state/ city laws. Some states and city are more lenient than other.
