Mini UDS help

Ok so I am making my mom a mini smoker, I have made a similar one in the past but this one is going to be a little smaller. Do I need 3/4" intakes, or do you think it would be ok with only 1/2" air intakes. This is quite a bit smaller than a normal UDS, only about 3' high and 13" wide. I am ASSuming that since it is smaller I shouldn't need the larger air intakes. Any thoughts. It will look similar to this one just with out the top section and the table.

The fire need air the size of the vessel thet contains the fire has no bearing on the amount of air the fire needs to burn cleanly 3/4" intakes

I guess it depends on how many air intakes you plan to use..

I would go with the 3/4" intakes. I made a midi recently, and thought about using 1/2" but they don't look like they would get enough air in.
