Recommended smoker box

Hey what box do you recommend for a webber gas grill?

something like this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Outset-QS77-Stainless-Steel-Smoker/dp/B000AQFYV4"]Amazon.com: Outset QS77 Stainless Steel Wood Chip Smoker Box: Patio, Lawn & Garden[/ame] but I bet there is a moms and pops one that "Smokes" this one... ahahhahhahah I make corny jokes.

I had something similar early on. Used it once and found it required too much heat to work on a gas two burner. Screwed with keeping lower temps Abandoned it and went straight to foil packs directly on the flavorizor bars. Works great.

Yup, foil pack directly on the bars like jmellor said. I use heavy duty foil doubled over. Just poke plenty of holes in the top.

you guys use pellets or wood chunks.. i think wood with bourbon/cider sounds like it would work good.

I usually used wood chips. Would stage them by the amount of holes in the packs. Usually used three.

I use a metal coffee can filled with chips and covered with fool. Poke a few holes in the foil, lay it on the burner and you're golden.
