Classic Patty Melt

For the burger throw down, I decided to go with the patty melt. Been eatin them my whole life, but up until now, never made one at home:icon_blush:, WTH???
Simply, grilled ground Charles with s&p only, onions, Swiss cheese, all grilled up between a couple of pieces of rye bread on a CI skillet. This will be done again!

BTW, it's not too late to enter the burger TD with your favorite burger. The burger throw down entry's are close to breaking the record, fire them grills up, it a beautiful day!

Holy carp, that looks great. Meat cooked just right. I bet the rye bread did it justice as well.

Perfectly executed, that looks great. I especially like the nice brown crust on that bread. CI skillets work great for that
