Default • Fried Chicken on the grill

Hey Everyone, had a pretty serious craving for some fried chicken today. My 2 friends that were over helping me with the smoker were quiiiiiite supportive of the notion so fried chicken it was.

Had some leg quarters, legs and wings in the freezer... Figured I need to make some space as well so I took them all out and thawed 'em. Seasoned them up with a blend of my pork rub, chicken seasoning, and a touch of cumin and pepper flakes and mixed it all up with some yogurt and tossed in the chicken to marinate for a 2 or so hours.

Tossed them in a seasoned flour and fried over a logwood fire:

Nice golden brown . Left them on the grill to drain and pick up a little smoke why the others fried.

Snuck a sample when everyone was inside... MWAHAHA

Bowl a chicken:

....and plated up with some fried thick cut sweet potato and a little sauce I mixed up for the chicken. Was happy. We made a pretty good dent in that bowl of chicken!!

Well that was dinner for the night! Everyone was blissfully comatosed!

Thanks for looking guys!
Cheers
