Default Raw Brisket Storage Question

How long can I keep a fresh cryovac'd packer brisket in the fridge for?
I won't have a chance to smoke it until some time next week.
Will it hold in the fridge until the Sept 26th?
The package is dated Sept. 21.

Thanks for any input.

a long time. many competitive cooks wet age their brisket in the fridge for 30 to 45 days.

i wouldn't do that in the kitchen fridge, but, for your concern, you'll be AOK.

Keep it in the coldest place in the fridge and you will be fine.

On my cryovacs there is an expiration date. I use a larger fridge in the basement set at a colder temp for my bbq storage, marinating, and/or brinning.
