My brisket is still folded in half???

Found a 15# packer last night and threw it on the 18.5" wsm, obviously had to fold it in half to make it fit. Ive seen this done before, I put it point down with the flat folded over, fat cap exposed. Its been on for over 12 hours now and I snuck a peek (I just woke up, thank you IQue) and its still folded in half, it didnt unwrap like I thought it was supposed to.

Think I can bend it back? If I put a weight on the flat for a little think it will maintain a new shape?
 
Or just seperate the point from the flat.
 
Who told you it would unfold on its own?
 
So what if it's folded, you're gonna slice it up anyway.
