I am about ready to find out, I have been defrosting one that I am sure has been in the freezer for about 3 years. I will hopefully have time to do something with it this weekend. Probably slice a few as steaks and do some of it as rib roasts.

Pic #1 Rib roll in original cryo after defrosting about 2 weeks in fridge.
Pic #2 Sliced about 1/2 inch off the end, meat was grey.
Pic #3 Slices some steaks 1 inch thick, the rest were 1.5 inches.
Pic #4 On the Traeger-small piece in front is cooks sample.
Pic #5 Off the grill ready for a little rest before eating.
No pics while eating, too busy to bother but they were delicious. The rib roll was in the freezer at LEAST 3 years, I didn't date it when it was put in. No bad smell at all, just a little grey that was trimmed off the end.
