Default Smoked loaf of meat--stuffed!

The wife gave me the greenlight to smoke a stuffed meatloaf. She doesn't like meatloaf but this recipe changed her mind with a little bbq glaze. Smoked it using some Hickory and Pecan. Rubbed the outside with Killer Hogs BBQ Rub. Bertha did her job and it came out great. I didn't have a raw onion so I replaced it with lipton onion soup mix. Gave a slightly salty taste but was still great! Thanks for looking.

Thanks Jeanie! I agree about the addition of cheese. Next time may try some pepper jack to give it a little kick.

Nice job Joedy, The cheddar is a nice addition. I did chunks throughout last time. Might have to try your method next.

Meatloaf is on the top of my list of things I like to smoke! Adding cheese is awesome. I will sometimes do mini meatloaves and customize the options (spicier for me) on them.

Love smoked meat loaf. I'm liking that perforated pan. Where did you find it? a quick search for me shows only sheet pans with smaller holes.

Thanks,

Robert

Just took it to 165* for the ground chuck and hot sausage to cook through.

Robert
Wal-Mart, only $1.97 and does a great job! The metal isn't super thick, but plenty thick enough to get the job done.
