Was at the GFS near my house yesterday and they have stopped carrying Royal Oak Lump and have replaced it with GFS Brand Lump and they are also carrying GFS Brand Hardwood Charcoal Briquettes...anybody here use their brand yet and have any thoughts or comments on it, good or bad.

I checked the Naked Whiz site:

but didn't find a review. Let's hope it is made by Royal Oak, and of the same quality. It's the only reliable source I have for decent lump!

Did they have the Nature-Glo brand lump there? I just bought a 20 lb bag of it for $10.99 a couple weeks ago at our relatively new GFS. First time ever using lump. I've done a Butt and 3 racks of loin back ribs since buying it. I may be a convert to lump after using it twice. Still have bout a third of the bag left, and was really impressed with the outcome.

I paid the same for a 20lb bag at my local GFS today.
According TNW's site, it is repackaged RO. I've been suffering through a few bags of Cowboy, and I'm very glad to be back on track. :tongue:
