Our son works for Dallas FD and had been asked to be their shifts cook full time awhile back.
After a couple or more drinks and a lot of discussion on the world today, he decides he needs to cook me breakfast, or lunch, or dinner.
I haven’t had a midnight snack in many many years.

Conecuh sausages, onions, peppers, cheddar cheese, eggs, and who knows what spices he used on a flour tortilla browned in butter.
I’m pretty sure I gained a few.

Thank your son for his public service, and that is perfect "having a drink with the old man" kind of food! When I was in high school, we had a class that would allow us to go out to different businesses in the community and work for a couple of hours just to see what was out there after graduation, and one of the favorite places that we went was the fire station, and those guys can cook.

Firefighters- they run in, whilst others run out
Amen

Thank you, sir can I have another... :hungry:

Midnight "snacking" and I still do it quite regularly. Awesome!
