When you pureed the garlic did you do the same to the shallots and how much salt did you put in the water for the ribs initial soak to get the blood out

I’m having it with a prime rib I’m doing this coming week. I did give it a taste with some bread and it’s just as delicious as it sounds. I puréed the shallots, garlic and marrow together, then added the softened butter. I soaked the bones in water in the fridge for 24 hours. No salt.

Where do you all source your bone marrow from? I have a hard time finding it in North Jersey.

Fantastic - Fresh bacon bits might be a nice addition.
I would have to cook a couple extra bones cause they are so damn delicious!

Wow… somewhat speechless. That looks and sounds fantastic. I haven’t ever had it but will be changing that here very soon.

I always spread the marrow on toast, salt it and devoured. I have the bones soaking in the fridge right now for smoking tomorrow AM (along with my pork belly). Have to try this recipe.
