I’m having it with a prime rib I’m doing this coming week. I did give it a taste with some bread and it’s just as delicious as it sounds.

I puréed the shallots, garlic and marrow together, then added the softened butter.

I soaked the bones in water in the fridge for 24 hours. No salt.

Where do you all source your bone marrow from? I have a hard time finding it in North Jersey.

Supermarket; but you should have some butcher shops around, ask them for it.

Fantastic - Fresh bacon bits might be a nice addition.

I would have to cook a couple extra bones cause they are so damn delicious!

Wow… somewhat speechless. That looks and sounds fantastic. I haven’t ever had it but will be changing that here very soon.

I always spread the marrow on toast, salt it and devoured. I have the bones soaking in the fridge right now for smoking tomorrow AM (along with my pork belly). Have to try this recipe.
