haven't smoked one myself, but did buy a smoked half turkey
yesterday from a nearby butcher/meat market.
was dubious till I tasted his store-made jalapeno cheddar beef sausage.
outstanding.

wondering how to best prepare/refresh this refrigerated smoked turkey for dinner.
steam it in some broth ?
just nuke and serve ?
fry it with some scrambled eggs ?
eat it cold with a condiment ?

what say you ?

Dark meat I just nuke and serve. White meat I prefer to turn into lunch meat or chicken salad.

cold turkey cranberry sauce , stuffing (dressing), mayo on squishy white bread.
Hot turkey salad (turkey, mayo, celery, some onion, cheese, baked with chips on top.
pot pies

sounds good!
so does that leftover sandwich.
is there a commercial stuffing you like ? since i didn't bake a bird...no
stuffing here .

So this is on my 60 shirley, but probably pretty similar to a lang. Not fully loaded but gives an idea.

Slow cook the dark meat in a little turkey stock (that you made from the carcass, of course!), tomato sauce, adobo, chili powder and a touch of cinnamon; slap it into a tortilla. Or make turkey mole!
