Default Maverick ET-735 Landed in Australia

I just received my Maverick ET-735!

I purchased the maverick to complement my pitmaster IQ-120, which i use on my UDS and a 22" weber grill.
The Mavericks are not readily available here in Australia, so i bought it through the net ( http://www.firecraft.com/product/mav...rmometer-white) and got it sent to a mate's hotel, while he was staying in Fort worth Texas.
He arrived back in Aus today.

I haven't used it with the grill yet, but I have turned it on to test the bluetooth range.
Without anything in between the transmitter and my galaxy 4S, it will travel at least 40 meters. (that's as far as I tested it at)

When I got it home I did the most important test: UDS to my bedside... it works! through three walls with about 10 meters distance!

However, if I disconnect it, it wont re-connect when at my bedside....

I then tried my old phone - an Iphone S4
It has a much better range. disconnects and re-connects without fault at the range of my bedside! I now have a dedicated BBQ Iphone 4S!

More news to follow when I have used it for a cook this weekend - mothers day.

Solid pieces of equipment the Maverickd, I've had three or more problem free years with my ET-7 setup. Good luck with yours.
