Default First brisket on pellet cooker

Usually my Humphrey's get the briskets but finally cooked on my pellet cooker. I wanted to use my new jerky rack.

Cooked up one 10 pound brisket and two 10 pound butts.
Not many pics, only one of the butts and I was blurry.

The brisket flat looks dry but it was very good.

Definitely from my Humphrey's. I don't mind a lighter smoke.
I smoked it on low smoke setting for 1 hour then high smoke for one hour. Then 250 rest of the cook.

Some Walmarts have them at the store on for $89. Don't go by the website price.

I didn't think I was going to be a fan of the pellet smokers.

I like this one but I also want to add a stick burner again.

I too was very hesitant! Just decided to take the plunge, and I've had absolutely no regrets :-)

I have cooked on just about every type of mainstream cooker that exists. I have gotten more compliments from the food off my pellet cooker than any other cooker I've ever had [emoji15]

Looks like a successful cook, in my book!

Did you add racks to yours? I really like my Pit Boss, but wish it had more cooking space.

That was my first time using it and it was real handy. I can see using it when needed for a lot of appetizers and you could fit a bunch of ribs on it.

I will be a big fan of it. I want to try jerky on it soon.
