Tried Frying Okra thanks to Cowgirls help.
Had no idea what it tasted like except in a Gumbo we made for a Visitor from the States.
So, What to eat it with in case we thought it was Yuk.?
Mix it with a Salad Platter , we do a lot of Platter meals, love the concept.
Very social eating.

Rubbed the Tri Tip with some Santa Maria seasoning from Oakridge.
Think I will stick to salt and pepper next time, just not a big seasoning fan.

Soaked the Okra in Milk, Then Vonnie made a dry batter and deep fried it.
Made these just before plating the salad in case they went soggy

Tomatoes , grilled and Fresh as a Combo.

Garlic bread Grilled

Reverse Seared the Tri Tip, rested for 10 minutes, sliced , then plated every thing up.

My plate with a Olive oil ,balsamic and mustard seed dressing, Didn't need it.

Okra had a soft texture internal and a Flavour that I remember from something else, not sure what.
It added a new texture and flavour that friends would wonder what it is.
as it sat it did get softer ,but I would add it again for others.
Thanks for looking

Tri tip looks perfectly cooked where it's just past the point of being too chewy :thumb:

Okra and caprese look top notch as well. Nice! :clap2:

A tad more fry time on the Okra, or a higher temp. And the Santa Maria Oakridge seasoning is good, I don't season with it that heavily though. Not bad though for the first time!

Looks great, did you have a Fosters with it?

Nope, dont like that American beer:laugh:
