I tried the blue bottle + brown sugar + honey thing that Johhny Trigg (and a lot of other competitors use) last weekend, and it really wasn't bad at all. I didn't use as much as I've seen others use. You get a little sweet flavor to the rib but not overpowering.
I personally won't do it again if it's just me at home, but for people coming over it's good for a variety of flavor.
