Had some good friends over who are vegetarian. Decided that just because it’s vegetarian food doesn’t mean it has to be healthy or boring! Fired up the Arteflame for the grilling session.

Decided to make a vegetarian version of Shake Shack’s Shack Stack (try saying that three times quickly)! Burger consisted of a giant portobello mushroom popper perched perilously on top of a veggie burger with provolone cheese. Served with grilled sweet potato rounds and kale salad (not pictured). Didn’t miss the meat at all.

Nicely, done, J!

It's always fun to see folks cook on different rigs...

Looks like you've got yours dialed in, mate!

My folks will do veggie burgers in rotation during the week more so for eating healthy and watching cholesterol levels etc. I can't recall the name of the veggie patties they buy, but not bad at all. Port's are amazing. Grilled gil side up with some oil, balsamic, and coarse pepper and kosher salt....amazing. We enjoy steamed kale with just lemon juice on it. I love my veggies along with my steak. Good on ya for treating your friends. I'd hit that!
