reviews of this slider vent

I would say it works. I use one from a bge, I think i paid $50.00 for it so thats a steel.

A friend of mine told me he knew a guy that used one and it was really leaky and he recommended cutting the opening smaller than the actual opening of the vent to give it more metal to seal on.
 
RTV silicone works wonders and it did for me:biggrin1::grin:
I don't remember how big I cut the square hole but using silicone seals and is hi heat resistant and everything gunks up after a few cooks anyway:grin:.
