Default Birthday Smoke Session

Not a lot of pics I usually snap along the way because I was pretty busy

Prepped the lollipops the night before

Then the Creekstone brisket, ribs, and TX sausage

Started the day with splitting oak around 6 am

Put the brisket on first

Apparently I wasn't the only one smoking. Hollywood Hills started burning up but LAFD put that out fairly fast. I have much love for first responders

Brisket at wrap

About the same time I hung the baby backs and spares

Lollipops were looking great on the Weber before the Blues Hog 50/50 sauce bath

Pulled the ribs eventually

Baby backs

Spares. Both dripping

Brisket after the rest

I switched direction abruptly while slicing as you can see. Too much whiskey I suppose

Burnt ends

Lean

Moist

Moist piece for daddy. People went absolutely NUTZ over the brisket

People must love me. I got 3 birthday cakes Chocolate cake, Mocha cake and Blueberry Chiffon cake. Didn't even cut through the latter two

Oh and I think everyone knows I like whisk/e/y, (tequila) and cigars. Love my friends and family. Blessed in that Dept. Thanks for looking brethren and sisters!

Thanks Paul! I even got cash as gift from folks that didn't know what to get me. Just put a nice Q together and apparently it was appreciated.

People tend to take care of the people that take care of them, you are obviously a good man, but I already knew that. Happy Birthday!
