Need a new smoker

Faced the same decision a couple of months ago and we settled on a Superior SS2 over the Jambo Jr. for two reasons: 1) I'm not getting any younger and the SS2 will allow me some sleep at a comp; 2) the Jambo (I still REALLY want one) weighs twice as much - somewhere around 800+ lbs. and would have been really hard to load and haul on our current trailer.

Cooked a 53 team comp a week after we got our Superior; finished third place chicken, tenth ribs, twelfth overall - not regretting our choice! Consistency, customer service, quality and ease of use seal the deal.

If you want a Jambo without the cost, have Muscrat build you one.
