I was JUST there looking at those VERY gloves!
I'd say they're different than the HD gloves because they are food grade. I've bought some "heavy" rubber gloves at Lowe's and although they are MUCH better than just latex or nylon gloves, they are still not nearly as good as the ones above.

Lucky Brand Tattoo gloves are hands down the best gloves for cooking (oddly enough).
They allow for easy movement, dexterity. You can feel your meat! :becky:

How is the sizing . I noticed it says 1 size fits all. Ive got big hands and usually wear xl gloves, are these roomy?

I have Amazon.com: Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Insulated Food Gloves, Pair: Patio, Lawn & Garden@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41kXPcbSusL.@@AMEPARAM@@41kXPcbSusL and they work really well as far as protecting from the heat but dexterity with them sucks.
I think if you're #1 concern is protection from heat, buy welding gloves. If you want to be able to handle meat/pull meat, etc. Go with what BBS carries...
