I put rub on my nuts
I like to season mixed nuts with a little Adobo seasoning and cayenne pepper. Last night I was lazy and saw my rib rub sitting in the spice cabinet, so I grabbed it up and sprinkled a little on my nuts.
I couldn't believe how bland my rub tasted on my nuts! I know there are a lot of great commercial rubs out there, but I'm a home made guy by nature. Anyone got any Sweet/Savory/Heat rub recipes to share? Something I can rub on my nuts, my butts and tickle my ribs with?
