Tip Top Temp

I had one for my akorn and it worked well. The important part is to keep it clean as the smoke build up on the spring will hinder the performance. I would use a vinegar bath and toothbrush for cleaning.

Seems like it would take all the fun out of it for me.
But that's just me...

The next post in the thread gives a good answer..A vinegar bath and a toothbrush.
I just got mine so haven't had to deal with that yet. Mine was an 11 our cook so it does have some smoke residue so I will have to find a good cleaning method. I was amazed that the temp did not vary at all
