Just smoked a no-trim, no-fuss, S&P brisket overnight in the drum, so I have enough leftovers to last for awhile. Maybe I'll fix a pot of brisket chili to simmer while dove hunting! That would be quick and easy!

Hope you have a great weekend Phu and Brethren!

Bratwurst weekend. Johnsonville Firecracker Brats with some peppers and onions. Might slip in a rack of beef ribs too. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Good Lawd... whole bunch of folks eating well this weekend!

Solo Dad duty tonight, so it's time fire up the UUNI for some pizza with the munchkin.

I discovered spare ribs were buy one, get one free at Albertsons on the way home, so we'll have a hard time deciding between ribs and wings for NFL Sunday. Who knows... maybe it's ribs tomorrow and wings Sunday!

Kind regards and thin blue, pholks!

I'm not cooking a thing this weekend - full social calendar with picnics and a theater show.

Have an awesome weekend, pholks!

We have been out of town for a week and have not cooked for 8 days. Can’t wait to get home Sunday and get it fired up. Happy Phriday! PTO next week!

2 pork butts and 3 pounds of conecuh sausage. It's my first big cook on my WSM. Here goes nothing!

Not sure about tomorrow, but hoping Costco has some of the prime ribeye caps on hand.

Happy to report that for the first time, possibly ever, the stars aligned and all three cooks went off as planned! Except the wings were Saturday and the rib eye caps were yesterday.
Being somewhat miserly, it pains me to pay $20/lb for beef, but it sure is tasty! Used Oakridge Santa Maria rub and then Carne Crosta over the top. Reverse seared. Oh yeah! So excited, I forgot to take pictures, but I'm sure you all know what a steak looks like!
