Halloween BBQ?

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions (preferably w/ recipes) for Halloween party food that is thematic and can be grilled or smoked?

I need some input for the next issue of Smoke Signals.

That would be cool. Thanks. Sort of a necrotic, brown misshapen hand. Very Halloweenish.

Halloween is a great time to have fun and be creative.
Also, the "naming" of foods can be a big part.
Such as "Pulled Zombie Pig" instead of "pulled pork"

Do a search for "witches finger cookies" for a cool dessert.
The look like fingers for sure.

You all sure do come up with ideas so fast. What a neat idea.
 
I put red food coloring in Mac and cheese and sent to Girl Scout party. Looked like worms/maggots. Was a talk of the town. Had lots of leftovers.

This happens a lot to food at Halloween parties that have been "thematically" adjusted. I have seen some dishes that probably would of tasted good, but the colors just grossed out people. If you want folks to eat food, as opposed to not... changing names on a regular dish like I mentioned above gives more of a chance of the food being chowed upon.

I have seen some jello and other desserts that were food dyed to be black.:becky:
Nobody even took a nibble. In the end it was plainly wasted. Now the Zombie hand is a different question.
That just rocks!
