IN PROGRESS --> "Yardbird" Throwdown (Entry & Discussion Thread) LASTS Through Monday, June 10th!!

Does Baby Dragon (Cornish Hen) count as a yardbird?

Cornish hen is just a small chicken…

*Not an official response. :)

My official “Yardbird” TD entry

Made garlic dill butter with fresh dill from the garden. Chicken thighs, deboned, trimmed, and seasoned with salt, pepper, and Smokey Chile Lime. Cast iron pan in 450 pit for 20 minutes, dropped 1/8 cup of butter, chicken thighs skin side down, and back in pit. Once skin was crispy, removed from pan and put a pat of dill garlic butter on each. Potato piroges on the griddle and more garlic dill butter on French Bread.

Greek marinated chicken cooked on the Weber 22, on a bed of mixed greens with kalomata olives and feta cheese.

Not pictured is the naan bread, tzatziki sauce and hummus.

(The corn is for another dish for my wife)
