PA - nearly $400 diesel, NY - nearly $600 diesel. I don't think I'll make either one but have fun. And the weekends right now are open if anybody wants to sponsor me

No more vacation days

Costs to much to drive
Would be tired when I got back to work

Come on you guys, Phil didnt post his request to get a bunch of wise a$$ anwsers as to why you cant make it, he asked that we check out the contest and maybe sign up. As for all the NEBS teams being at Maine, its not possible.Lt last count NEBS has 323 teams that have cooked in a NEBS event in the last year, 100 that have cooked at least four events. no more than 30 of these teams will be in Maine. that leaves a lot of teams with a place to cook at a great event. SO PLEASE help spread the word about the contest, encourage your freinds to sign up, after all its Brethren Event, and Fundraiser.

This was not a paid annoucement by the Grand Pobah

I would be at the PA one in a heartbeat. With the higher entry fee, hard to justify the extra gas that I would be spending. Maybe next year. I do need to get PA off my list.
