So I have noticed over the last couple years that my go to sauce wasn't yielding the results I had become accustomed to. What used to be a nice tangy sauce with a rich red color had lost it's tang and gotten much darker. Originally I thought that maybe I had old jars but come to find out, after a phone call to Bone Suckin' directly, that beyond all belief Bone Suckin' changed their recipe. Why??? Extremely disappointing.
So I set out to find a good alternative that would get me as close to the flavor profile of the original Bone Suckin' Sauce. I haven't had much luck until I came across Killer Hogs The Vinegar Sauce. It's an excellent sauce and is VERY close to what I am looking for. Are there any other "ex" Bone Suckin' users? What have you found as a substitute?
