This was dinner tonight. Sorry about the pics. They are from my phone. If my phone were a pit it would be a COS from home depot that got hit by the forklift.
Needed a quick cook tonight so threw on a couple of chuck steaks i got on sale at Winco last week.
Yes, I cheated and used Montreal seasoning.
Over the coals for a quick sear.
Threw them into the center to do some indirect so they could stay on longer.
Put come hickory on to add some flavor. (I love hickory smoke)
On the plate.
Poured on some cream sauce. Cream, garlic, salt, pepper, butter, cheese and drippings from the steak. The steaks were wrapped in foil at the very end to catch some juice for the sauce.
That's it. Looking at the quality of these pics I'm not even sure I should be posting this. But here we go. And I still can't figure out why all my photos are correct on my computer. But don't come out right side up when I post. Anyway Thanks for looking.
