Hmmmm.... not sure why you aren’t getting an audible alarm on your phone or tablet. I use my android phone and get a loud alarm on that. Go into the alarm menu and see what the settings are. There are a few settings that can be changed if I recall correctly. If that isn’t working, shoot the guys over at fireboard an email and they will probably get back to you today. The service is crazy good from those guys.

My maverick doesn't connect well if I am on the couch..

You might contact Fireboard if you think it should do more with notifications.

You probably need to turn up the volume of the notifications on your phone. It has happened to me once or twice that the notifications were to low in volume and always because I had changed volume settings.

Sorry you haven’t seemed to get the response from them that I did. Have you gone into the alert settings and selected the long tone? That is very loud on my phone and long as well so if I’m asleep it will definitely wake me up.

I made that the setting. I haven’t done a cook yet so I can’t review this

Hi All I finally got me a smart phone. So now I'm thinking about getting either of these two to monitor my cooks. I need some thoughts from those of you have used either one.

I do have the Digi Q DX 2 now, should I just keep it or move up the Cloud or Gateway? I have a tough decision to make.

After reading this thread I'm thinking about the Fireboard? Your thoughts?
