Default Harvest Brine

I have used this on pork with great results. 1st time on chicken. Dry brined boneless skinless chicken breasts. Should I rinse before smoking so its not to salty? What do you say?

I've used it on turkey a few times and I've never rinsed off the brine...the food always came out with a great flavor and it was never too salty.

Thanks. If you don't rinse I won't either. My son requested some smoked chicken for a pasta recipe he wants to make. Didn't want to screw up his deal with to much salt.

Don’t rinse it...only the salt is absorbed by the meat, the rest of just seasoning and flavor meant to stay on the outside
