OK I'm back... what did I miss?
Since the last time I posted I have found the magic of KISS... Keep it simple Stupid...
My rub for the last several cooks has been salt and pepper with some Celery Salt and Granulated Garlic. Things I have learned: I have discovered that course ground Sea Salt does not mix well with Course Ground black pepper. The Granuals of Salt do not fit through the holes very well and therefore the mix between salt and pepper is not equal. I have also discovered that my daughter (10 yrs old) is a very good and capable chicken cooker. Water does not mix well with fire pits when heating.... Hair on your knuckles is very temporary at best ... A Habenero pepper does not become mild if left in honey... (still stings) Beef ribs are awesome if you know what you are doing... Ribs disappear when left on a table unattended. Thank you.
