Love my weber 26 but hated the wobbly legs and all around lack of usable space. I looked around and saw some great ideas here. I went down to a local fabricator and had this built for $350. It's 30x60 and has heavy duty castors on the front and solid tires in the back. Easily rolls out of the way and into my side yard when I'm not using it. I put a Wagyu tri tip on it for it's maiden run...works great!! Just sharing in the event others are looking for a solution for their 26"!!

Awesome setup, tri tip looks great, I love the beer holders!

That's a really sweet setup.

Looks like a great maiden voyage!

Very nice job! Nothing irritates me more (regarding weber) than the rickety ass legs they come with. The only reason I bought a performer was for the cart. I really, really like your 26” and cart setup though. Nicely done!

Construction looks pretty straightforward. It shouldn't be overly hard finding a local shop to build a similar one for you. The hardest part is going to be getting the kettle attachment right but, for a skilled welder, not that tough.

Looks great, I have had a performer for the last 9 years and couldn't think of a 26" without a cart, it makes it a lot better imo.
