Smoking some garlic for future cooks. Drizzle of evoo and dusted with kosher salt. 225* for one hour then wrapped in foil on counter one hour. Then will separate in halves making six little plastic wrapped pouches for the freezer. Butter-cream cheese soups stews chili etc.

Awesome. Was hoping to do something similar but my stock hasn't shown up yet. Going to have to go visit my parents and find out "What the hell?"

I can practically smell that wonderful roasted garlic just looking at your photos. Nice work on the garlic and with the camera.
 
I did that for the first time a couple months back. I was eating the cloves straight. Horrible gas later but it was delicious.
 
Bacon makes everything better and Garlic makes everything better!

We get lazy and buy the 5 pound bag of peeled garlic. If it is starting to age, mince it up in a food processor and spread on a cookie sheet to freeze. The cut into chunks and bag up to add to what ever you are cooking later. Ice cube trays work great also.

Roasted / smoked garlic is awesome with Bone Marrow on toasted bread! :clap2:
