Got the LSG fire basket today, I think it’ll do a great job keeping the coal bed how I prefer it. This size, the larger of the two options, looks to be the size I’d like to keep my fire.
Also, I did get confirmation from the previous owner that the bottom grate in the original basket did have to be replaced due to wear, so it is indeed not the original setup.

Red wheels with whitewalls and a chrome cap looks sharp. Probably the best wheels/tires I've seen on a smoker. Nicely done!

Not our basket ever basket we build has a double pattern in the bottom... people like it... because once they saw ours others builders starting do it too.... I feel like the lone star basket is to small.... give me dimensions and you pay the shipping and I'll build you a nice basket that I assure you will love.. want charge for the basket!!!!!
