I tried it once and found it too sweet as well, same for Kraaken. I am more of a Sailor Jerry guy when I drink rum.

Shows my weird palate as I like Kraken. Even to sip.

This blackheart is like mixing cough syrup with rum.......all the damn ice house edge and Steele reserve couldn't wash the taste out of my mouth......... and I'm still trying tonight .

I'm not a spiced rum guy, but I do like dark rum. These are two that I really enjoy.
