Default Guacamole ABT's?

Has anyone ever tried guacamole as the stuffing for an abt? How did it turn out?

What's the oddest abt that you've made. Mine was a thai influenced peanut sauce cream cheese mixture. Turned out horrible.

I have been making alot recently, getting alot closer to perfection than I was. Chopped Mango mixed with the Crm Cheese is good. Also habenero relish is good.
I put alot of effort into coating the entire thing well in BBQ Rub(with extra sugar) thoroughly before skewering, to help with crispiness.

I like both the chopped mango and rub ideas. I usually add some preserves to the cream cheese. The sugar helps to cut the heat of the jalapenos. I'm going to try a sugared up rub next time for a little more sweetness.

Along similar lines I've done chopped fresh pineapple with chopped ham mixed in with the cream cheese. Very good sweet-heat and salt flavor.

In fact I like the ham so much that just about all my ABTs have it now. I like it better than even leftover BBQ.

Nothing "strange" yet, but once I did garlic, cream cheese, mushroom and garlic. With extra garlic. Turned out to be way to "garlicky". Who knew???

So???? I'm anxious to hear if anyone's tried guacamole ABT's or not. Sounds GOOOOOD!! I'm going to be smoking for my brother's bachelor party for about 10 guys next Thursday and I'm thinking of throwing ABT's on the menu. Curious to see if guac works out well.

The thing about guacamole is that it goes bad with exposure to air pretty quickly. It would be awfully funky looking I would think.

8 ozs. cream cheese, 8 ozs. grated sharp cheddar, 8 ozs. leftover pulled pork coarsely chopped, pre-cooked bacon (we use Hormel Black Label from Sams), Tones Southwest Chipotle seasoning; use about 6 tablespoons mixed with an equal amount of water; let stand about an hour to rehydrate the spices before mixing into cream cheese mixture. Cut off stem and cut pepper in half; remove seeds and membrane; fill with filling mixture and wrap with bacon; use toothpick to hold together. Cook on smoker at 225 to 250 for about 1.5 hrs. Peppers will be tender and bacon crisp.

My first ABT's had the cream cheese mixture and imitation crab or lobster in them. It was whatever comes in the longer strips. I think it was lobster.

Aidan(son) touched the raw peppers after I told him not to and then picked his nose. He wasn't laughing nearly as hard as I was, although we both had tears in our eyes.
