i've been working in the music business and touring the world for years. i was home so rarely, i never had time to do low and slow TX bbq.
then covid hit and my tour was canceled during load-in one thursday and our entire industry has been completely shut down ever since... so i have a new hobby! luckily, i've become friends over the years with a few james beard award winners and some of the biggest names in the bbq game, so i have good teachers.
i recently bought the new franklin bbq pit. i figured if i'm going to learn how to do this thing, i might as well have something built by someone who knows what they're doing.
the pit is incredible. i'm in love. i'm never leaving home again.
i have wood delivered to my house and HEB delivers USDA Prime cuts of meat to my door. i'm in heaven!
