Buttermilk Pie, so good, so easy... Up north you can't buy it, gotta make your own. Kids had pumpkin pie & sweet potato pie, available at every store. I don't bother making those anymore.

Delicious goodness from the south. Basically a custard type pie, but oh so good. I'm not big on desserts, but I think I might make another one tomorrow.

How could you forget to post that wonderful looking pie? :biggrin1: That said... we forgot about a scratch pumpkin pie our neighbor dropped off earlier. Until about 9pm or so, which worked out fine.
I'm sure it will, they are so easy to make. This was a recipe I found that had bourbon in it, so I had to try it. But I couldn't really taste any bourbon in it.
Just remember to add the buttermilk in as the last ingredient, if you add it in at the beginning, the filling can separate.

Buttermilk pie is 100% awesomeness. Praseks smokehouse in El Camp has mini buttermilk pies for sale near their registers. So good.

That pie looks great. Never heard of it and I'm in the south. Now I have to find a recipe and try it!
This is the recipe I used for this one. Only because it had bourbon in it. But I couldn't really taste any bourbon.
