5oz ladle/spoon?
Hey folks,
I picked up a few of these for serving pulled pork and brisket that will go onto buns for sandwiches. The idea being that when the volunteers scoop they will get a fairly precise amount of meat. https://www.amazon.com/American-Meta.../dp/B004BT3LJS Anyone have familiarity with these? Obviously pulled pork and chopped brisket aren't going to weigh exactly the same, and unfortunately I don't have a scale to check how much actually gets into a scoop so hoping you guys may have an idea. Looking for 5-6oz portions for each serving. Thanks |

Sounds like these are fluid ounces, which is a measure of volume. Each scoop will give you the same volume, but a scoop of stew vs a scoop of flour will give two different weights (masses).
